Goodly Foods doing Good Things

MOTIV toured the Goodly kitchen today located in the Commissary Connect facility in South Vancouver. Goodly takes off-size and flawed produce and turns it into soups, stews and sauces. Reducing food waste, creating nutritious food and meaningful employment - all wrapped into one.

“It all began in 2013, when Goodly Co-founder and CEO Aart Schuurman Hess needed to figure out what to do with over 9,000 kilograms of bananas…”

This is such an important piece in linking up the full cycle of agriculture from growth - harvest - processing - (no waste) - plate.
